It is equally intended to reconstruct the transition from a Palaeolithic to a Mesolithic way of life. The Eggstedt-Stellmoor-Gruppe of the Ahrensburgian in northern Germany, the Belloisien in the Paris Basin and northern France up to Brittany in general, as well as the Long Blade Assemblages, which are mostly recorded in the South of England, all feature so-called long and giant blades, some of which have heavily damaged edges. Inwieweit die Herstellung und der Gebrauch dieser Klingen, aber auch die Subsistenzwirtschaft und Mobilit\u00e4t der genannten Kulturen ebenfalls \u00fcbereinstimmen, soll durch die gemeinsame Analyse arch\u00e4ologischer Inventare aus den verschiedenen Regionen gekl\u00e4rt werden. Dank eines Forschungsstipendiums des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes und der Fondation de la Maison des Sciences de l&#8217;Homme konnten 2013 die Methoden und Techniken zur Herstellung von Feuersteinartefakten am Fundplatz Donnemarie-Dontilly (Seine-et-Marne) im s\u00fcdlichen Pariser Becken untersucht werden. Die Ergebnisse dieser Studie sowie damit verbundene methodische \u00dcberlegungen dienen als Basis f\u00fcr den Vergleich mit weiteren Fundstellen des Belloisien und der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Kulturen (cf. Die Eggstedt-Stellmoor-Gruppe der Ahrensburger Kultur in Norddeutschland, das Belloisien des Pariser Beckens und Nordfrankreichs bis zur Bretagne sowie die vor allem im S\u00fcden Englands nachgewiesenen Long Blade Assemblages haben das Auftreten sogenannter Gro\u00df- und Riesenklingen gemeinsam, die zum Teil Kantenbesch\u00e4digungen aufweisen. Inwieweit die Herstellung und der Gebrauch dieser Klingen, aber auch die Subsistenzwirtschaft und Mobilit\u00e4t der genannten Kulturen ebenfalls \u00fcbereinstimmen, soll durch die gemeinsame Analyse arch\u00e4ologischer Inventare aus den verschiedenen Regionen gekl\u00e4rt werden. Dank eines Forschungsstipendiums des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes und der Fondation de la Maison des Sciences de l&#8217;Homme konnten 2013 die Methoden und Techniken zur Herstellung von Feuersteinartefakten am Fundplatz Donnemarie-Dontilly (Seine-et-Marne) im s\u00fcdlichen Pariser Becken untersucht werden. Die Ergebnisse dieser Studie sowie damit verbundene methodische \u00dcberlegungen dienen als Basis f\u00fcr den Vergleich mit weiteren Fundstellen des Belloisien und der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Kulturen (cf.
