Trotz einer \u00fcber einhundertj\u00e4hrigen Forschung zu den Orten dieses Namens in Skandinavien fehlt nach wie vor der Unterbau, der zur Beantwortung \u00fcbergeordneter Fragestellungen eigentlich zwingend notwendig ist. Die schon fr\u00fch als k\u00f6nigliche H\u00f6fe interpretierten Husebyer wurden bislang lediglich in ausgew\u00e4hlten Regionen Schwedens und Norwegens im Hinblick auf ihre Lage und ihr Umfeld betrachtet. Aufgrund der ungleichen Verteilung des Ortsnamen in Skandinavien, der sporadischen Erw\u00e4hnungen in den Schriftquellen sowie zum Teil bedeutender arch\u00e4ologisch-historischer \u00dcberlieferungen bei den Orten werden die Husebyer als Bestandteile eines sp\u00e4twikingerzeitlichen bzw. fr\u00fchmittelalterlichen k\u00f6niglichen Verwaltungsapparates interpretiert. In j\u00fcngster Zeit mehren sich jedoch Zweifel daran, ob von einem einheitlichen Huseby-System in den drei skandinavischen K\u00f6nigreichen auszugehen ist, die mit Forderungen nach einer differenzierteren Betrachtung der Huseby-Orte einhergehen. Diese Machtstrukturen f\u00fchren zu einer Ausdifferenzierung der Siedlungsformen, wie sie sich zum Beispiel anhand von Burgw\u00e4llen und befestigten Siedlungen, fr\u00fchurbanen Zentren oder Verwaltungsorten ermitteln lassen. Trotz einer \u00fcber einhundertj\u00e4hrigen Forschung zu den Orten dieses Namens in Skandinavien fehlt nach wie vor der Unterbau, der zur Beantwortung \u00fcbergeordneter Fragestellungen eigentlich zwingend notwendig ist. Die schon fr\u00fch als k\u00f6nigliche H\u00f6fe interpretierten Husebyer wurden bislang lediglich in ausgew\u00e4hlten Regionen Schwedens und Norwegens im Hinblick auf ihre Lage und ihr Umfeld betrachtet. Aufgrund der ungleichen Verteilung des Ortsnamen in Skandinavien, der sporadischen Erw\u00e4hnungen in den Schriftquellen sowie zum Teil bedeutender arch\u00e4ologisch-historischer \u00dcberlieferungen bei den Orten werden die Husebyer als Bestandteile eines sp\u00e4twikingerzeitlichen bzw. fr\u00fchmittelalterlichen k\u00f6niglichen Verwaltungsapparates interpretiert. In j\u00fcngster Zeit mehren sich jedoch Zweifel daran, ob von einem einheitlichen Huseby-System in den drei skandinavischen K\u00f6nigreichen auszugehen ist, die mit Forderungen nach einer differenzierteren Betrachtung der Huseby-Orte einhergehen.
